Yolanda’s focus on real estate and architecture has been complemented through her career with her interest in research, academics and the use of computer technology for design.
Yolanda's extensive real estate experience is an asset to her client. Yolanda worked as a Design Director for yoo in New York, a global design orientated firm that adds value to residential developments through innovative design, branding and marketing. She worked closely with creative directors Philippe Starck and Jade Jagger, established the yoo Studio in New York,and successfully launched and completed several buildings in North America with a total of 2,500 residential branded units.
Prior to that, Yolanda worked as an architect for several high end retail brands including Carolina Herrera and Estee Lauder Companies (Mac Cosmetics) on a variety of international retail projects including store design, branding and visual merchandising.
Yolanda is an AIA (American Institute of Architects) International Member, LEED AP (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional) and Licensed Real Estate agent. Since moving to New York in 1996 she earned two Master Degrees from Columbia University in Advanced Architectural Design and Urban Design after graduating from the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University in Madrid, Spain.
She has been awarded the Honor Award for excellence in Design, the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial prize and the AIA/AAF fellowship for advance study and research.
